Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides several public record channels, but no single office holds the whole story. The Mitchell County Sheriff keeps local booking, custody, incident, and warrant material. The clerk maintains filed charges and dispositions, while GCIC holds the statewide criminal-history repository. Corrections and registry records use still other systems. We gather the verified request steps, official searches, fees, and contacts for those separate custodians.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Georgia court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those limits mean:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing sheriff, court, or Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Crime Information Center can provide an official copy. We can identify the office, but the document must come from its custodian.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, prices, and terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free resource. We neither set the provider's charge nor decide what its search returns.
